AF launches new range for Asian market at ISOT Tokyo

ISOT the International Stationery & Office Products Fair 2008 was held at the Big Sight Exhibition Centre in Tokyo Bay 9 - 11th July 2008. A staggering 40,000 people registered for the show over the three days. The show was combined with OSEC and GIFTEX and visitors could visit any of the shows, a combination was over 67,500 visitors.

The ISOT show hosts a vast array of products from 900 exhibitors from 20 countries and was selected by AF for the launch of its new range specifically for the Asian market as it is a key stationery trade exhibition within the heart of the Japan.

Japan is a new market for AF and to be successful within this market, AF has had to make sure its range of products carry text in English, French, Japanese, Korean and Chinese on the packaging in order to thoroughly cover the Asian market.

The AF products available for the Asian market include Telephone Wipes, Screen Wipes, Phone-Clene, Screen-Clene, CD-Clene, Sprayduster and Screen-Protector. The products have been designed in the same way as the personal range, a range of environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions developed, packaged and sized specifically for small offices, workstations and mobile workers, which were launched earlier this year.

Karen Harrison, Marketing Manager explains why AF is launching its new range at ISOT; "The Japanese market is a new market for AF and although we have distribution in the area, it is important for us to make our products as accessible as possible to the Asian market. We have redesigned our packaging in order that we can accommodate several languages on the products to ensure they are successful within this new market."
