Make sure the only thing you catch, is the cleaning bug... AF announces new test results!

Posted on 20 September 2011 |

AF International, Europe's leading manufacturer of specialist computer and equipment cleaning products, have received excellent independent test results on a number of products which contain an anti-microbial additive. Results show they kill 99.9% of H1N1 Swine Flue Virus according to EN14476, and representative results for a family of flu viruses, such as common flu and Bird Flu H5N1.

AF International's well known hard surface and computer cleaning products, such as Phone-Clene, Screen-Clene, Headset-Clene, Foamclene, PC-Clene and Maxiclene achieved excellent results.

Ron Jakeman, Managing Director "We are very pleased to announce the results of the independent tests. The formulations tested have been in our products for some considerable time. Whilst we have not previously claimed their effectiveness against these viruses, they have been providing the very highest levels of protection."

These specially formulated products provide exceptional cleaning of office equipment and in turn assist in maintaining a germ-free working environment. The products have been externally tested for antibacterial efficacy in use and results show a 99.9% reduction of staphylococcus aureus, E-Coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa, aspergillus niger and candida albicans. In addition, the carefully selected and widely tested anti-microbial additive used within these products kills 99.9% of the H1N1 Swine Flu Virus according to EN14476, providing representative results for the family of flu viruses, such as common flu and Bird Flu (H5N1).

Phone-Clene contains a strong bactericide and is ideal for use on shared hand and head-sets, as well as mobile phones. As many illness-causing bacteria can be spread by human contact with surfaces, Phone-Clene is the frontline defence against sickness. Headset-Clene offers complete sanitisation of the entire headset, including the ear and mouthpiece, which is ideal in 'hotdesk' situations or for shared equipment at home, including computer microphones.
